Tim Hanna
Chief Executive Officer

Tim has been in pastoral ministry in Australian churches, in a number of states, for 30 years – most recently as senior pastor of Gateway Baptist Church in Brisbane for 10 ½ years. He has a love for the church and a passion to see it become all it can be, missionally and relationally. Consequently he loves to be involved with the training and equipping of leaders to this end.

More recently, Tim has just completed a term as National Director of Church and Mission with Compassion Australia, where he was able to bring awareness of God’s heart for the poor and associated issues of injustice, before now stepping into the role of CEO of Willow Creek Australia, which has at its heart the desire to equip, inspire and challenge Christian leaders in their ministries.

Tim is married to Chris and they have nine children and ten grandchildren (so far!). He loves family times, travel, reading, visiting coffee shops and his gym, and is a sports tragic, especially AFL, cricket and tennis.
